Last Friday 24th April, representatives of the association DEIM (Innovative and Entrepreneurial Women from Manresa) visited the facilities of the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, which is integrated in Eurecat, Catalan Technological Center (member of the network TECNIO). The aim of the visit was to get a closer look at the different ways in which this center can serve SME´s interests. During the visit they got to know the activities that the center carries out within the frame of a series of workshops that have the objective of showing the scientific and technological activities of the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic on the business network of the area.
Deim is an association of innovative and entrepreneurial women from Manresa and central Catalonia that has the objective of sharing social, business and training concerns. The determination of this entity from Manresa is to turn opportunities and experiences into a shared reality. DEIM offers answers and solutions to situations that individually could not be solved in an optimal way. DEIM also offers advice on the doubts that come up along any women’s daily and professional life. Another objective is that of promoting the creation of a network of relations that will allow the associates to provide mutual support with information, contacts, business relations or just an exchange of experiences and/or opinions.
Along the line of making themselves known in the area, representatives of other important associations have recently visited the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic. An example of these are the Rotary Club Manresa-Bages, Manresa´s “Associació d’Empresaris del Polígon Industrial de Bufalvent” (Businessmen Association of the Industrial site Bufalvent) and the “Associació de Professionals Sèniors al Servei de Territori Gest” (Association of Senior Professionals at the service of Gest) and PIMEC Catalunya Central.
