The main lines of work of the unit of Mechanic Behavoiur of Materials are:
- Development of materials for forming tools (tool steels and maraging steels)
- Hydromechanical characterisation of materials
- Determination of failure micromechanisms in structural components
- Application of titanium alloys in automotion components
- Fatigue and fracture in aluminium-silicon casting
- Behavior in fatigue of structural components (forged pieces, casting, etc)
