SUPPORT TO INNOVATION: INDUSTRIAL ECO-INNOVATION
Projects aimed at the improvement of processes and products of companies from an environmental point of view:
- Project for the valorisation of residual green moulding sand of several iron foundries.
- Project for the valorisation of the fine fraction of residual green moulding sand from several iron foundries in different industrial applications.
- Collaboration in the design of an innovative productive process based on sustainability criteria and kick off of a pilot plant for the production of biodiesel.
- Optimisation of resources and promotion of the creation of new business lines and products based on the wastes generated in the productive process.
Consultancy for the resolution of environmental problems within the company:
- Resolution of problems related to the minimisation and valorisation of different kinds of industrial wastes.
- Resolution of problems related to the emissions to the atmosphere that come from the use of dissolvents.
- Advice on the subject of environmental legislation; among other aspects: fulfilment and adequacy to the Real Decreto 117/2003 about the limitations on the emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that come from the use of dissolvents in certain activities; advice on the regulation REACH and Environmental Responsibility, etc.
- Collaboration in the development and optimisation of systems for the treatment of residual waters through the membrane technology.
International collaborations:
- New industrial eco-innovation international initiatives have started from the area of Support to Innovation in the field of the valorisation of industrial wastes; in particular in the valorisation of residual moulding sand from iron foundries in countries in Central America, South America and East Europe. For the execution of the projects we count with the participation of the ACC1Ó CIDEM|COPCA delegations of each of the countries in which we want to work and with the support of CTM´s Unit for International Projects.
