The Fundació CTM starts a project for the improvement of the energetic efficiency of air conditioning systems
GDO2CLIM seeks to develop software tools based on artificial intelligence which will allow reducing power consumption maximums for air conditioning installations and that way reduce penalty and contractual costs of supplies (gas, electricity, etc.). They will also allow the efficiency supervision of the installation and the different units so as to make an estimate of the remaining useful life and assist end users in the decision making when it comes to maintenance ( units replacement, stops, repairing, etc.).
The project GDO2CLIM entails the development of two modules that will be integrated in the existing energy management software. These modules will be preferentially integrated in the energy management solution for the buildings “in the cloud” WATTABIT (www.wattabit.com), developed and marketed for one of the partners of the consortium. The development, verification and validation of these modules will be carried out at the new building of the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, which is located at the Technological Park of Central Catalonia.
The initiative GDO2CLIM, which started at the ends of 2014, will be active for four years and will count with a Budget of 567.191 Euros financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. >> View all news
