A department of the Lulea University from Sweden, collaborators of the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, does a bike tour plus a wine taste around the Parc de la Sèquia (the medieval irrigation channel Park)
On Tuesday 21st May, twenty-one people from Lulea University in northern Sweden, who were staying in Manresa to visit the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, did a bike tour guided by the local coop MBICI.
The tour left the MBICI shop in Manresa, rode along the bike lane to the Parc de la Agulla (the artificial lake) and then followed the camí de la Sèquia (the path along the medieval irrigation channel) until the Mas de Sant Iscle winery. Once there the group took a guided visit of the winery´s facilities and tasted white and red wines corresponding to different grape varieties and ageings. The return was done through el Poal (the irrigation land). The group finished the activity with a presentation of the MengemBages project (a web platform and shop to promote local farmers), which share space and principles with MBICI.
